Gujarat govt announces farmer relief package 2 for remaining districts after heavy rains, Rs 531 crore aid to be paid

The government has taken a big decision in the matter of crop damage due to heavy rains. The government has made up its mind to help in crop loss in 9 more districts. Announcing this after today's meeting, government spokesperson Jitu Waghan said that the government has announced a farmer assistance package of Rs 531 crore for the remaining districts . In which Rs. 6800 per hectare will be given to farmers. 4000 assistance will be given for half hectare while assistance will be paid for maximum two hectare. After verification, eligible assistance to farmers will be given directly to the bank account.

The government will provide assistance to farmers in Ahmedabad, Botad, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Chhotaudepur, Panchmahal, Amreli, Bharuch, Vadodara. The farmers of 1530 villages will get direct benefit. Waghan also said that the aid was allotted for a total of 7.65 lakh hectares of land.

સરકાર દ્વારા 4 જિલ્લાના ખેડૂતો માટે જ સહાયની જાહેરાત કરતા અન્ય જિલ્લાના ખેડૂતો નારાજ થયા હતા. પ્રતિ હેક્ટર 13 હજાર રૂપિયા સહાય ચૂકવવાની જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવી હતી. વધુમાં વધુ 2 હેક્ટર નુકસાનીમાં સહાય આપવાની જાહેરાત કરાઈ હતી. 33 ટકા કરતાં વધુ નુકસાન થયું હોય તેવા ખેડૂતોને જ સહાય અપાશે, તેમ પણ કહેવાયું હતું. ઓછામાં ઓછી 5 હજાર સહાય ચૂકવાશે. SDRFના ધોરણ કરતાં વધારાની રકમ રાજ્ય સરકાર બજેટમાંથી આપશે.
સહાય મેળવવા માટે ખેડૂતોએ 25 ઓક્ટોબરથી 20 નવેમ્બર દરમિયાન ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરવાની હતી. સહાયની રકમ ખેડૂત ખાતેદારના બેંક ખાતામાં સીધી જમા થશે, તેમ જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવી હતી.
સહાય મેળવવા માટે ખેડૂતોએ 25 ઓક્ટોબરથી 20 નવેમ્બર દરમિયાન ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરવાની હતી. સહાયની રકમ ખેડૂત ખાતેદારના બેંક ખાતામાં સીધી જમા થશે, તેમ જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવી હતી.
