A total of 6.83 lakh students across the state, including 1.40 lakh students in Std-12 science stream and 5.43 students in general stream, will appear for the exam.

Instructions have been given to conduct board examinations of standard 12 with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocol in these special circumstances of transition of corona. The Education Minister said that this examination will be conducted every year as per the established system of Science Stream Part-1 by 50 marks Multiple Choice Type (MCQ) OMR method and Part-2 Descriptive Written Form 50 marks examination will be held for 3 hours. Similarly, in Std-12 general stream, according to the system, a 3-hour examination of descriptive written form of 100 marks will be held.

For this purpose, the number of examination centers in the state will be increased this year.
